June 2010 Grant Recipients

Chad Zaucha accepting $3,000.00 check for YMCA of Clay County, Inc. Funds will help fund summer camp and sports scholarships.

Connie McClure and Kathy Wright accepting $3,500.00 check for Clay County Parks Association.  Funds will go toward the purchase of park benches.

Tamara Hemmerlein accepting $5,000.00 check for Montgomery County Cultural Foundation Inc. to assist in restoration of Cultural/Arts Center.

March 2010 Grant Recipients

Bill Hutson accepting $2,500.00 check for Table Talk Ministries Foundation. Table Talk will be building handicap ramps to provide exits for wheelchair bound individuals.

Charlie Martin accepting $2,000.00 check for Riverton Parke Youth Football Club. Funds will go toward start-up equipment such as helmets, shoulder pads, uniforms and registration fees for parents unable to pay.

Susie Waymire, Rebecca Allee and Marsha Allee accepting $2,000.00 check to go toward the purchase of a Diabetic Alert Service Dog for Rebecca. The dog is needed to alert family/teachers of the rise and fall of Rebecca’s glucose levels to prevent seizures.

Mark Maden accepting $4790.00 check for Lyford Volunteer Fire Department to go toward the purchase of pagers for firefighters to personally keep at their homes to be notified of emergencies.
