June 2016 Recipeints

REMC Multi-County Community Trust (Operation Roundup) recently awarded $2,045.00 to J.UG.A (Bellmore) Volunteer Fire Department. Grant funds, in conjunction with funds from Assistance to Firefighters Grant, will be used to finalize the purchase of a Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (S.C.B.A) filling station. REMC Multi-County Community Trust (Operation Roundup) recently awarded $2,000.00 to Parke County, Inc. These monies will help fund the seating/educational area to accommodate groups who will use this area as a workshop/teaching/informational area for Parke County community members, groups and visitors. REMC Multi-County Community Trust (Operation Roundup) recently awarded $3,834.00 to Waveland Town Marshal. Monies will be used to purchase a bullet proof vest along with a new 800 Mhz radio. Accepting the award is Gary McHenry, Town Marshal and Don Dickman, Deputy Marshal.

 

 REMC Multi-County Community Trust (Operation Roundup) recently awarded $1,000.00 to Mountie Mission, Inc.  (Ladoga). These monies will help provide school clothes, school supplies and backpacks to children in need. The majority of these children reside in Montgomery and Putnam counties. REMC Multi-County Community Trust (Operation Roundup) recently awarded $1,000.00 to YMCA of the Wabash Valley (Brazil). These monies will be used to offset the cost to their Summer Day Camp, Afterschool care and Youth Sports which will allow more children to participate.  Accepting the award is Nicole Fry, Executive Branch Director and Deborah Ringo, CEO.

REMC Multi-County Community Trust (Operation Roundup) recently awarded $5,459.80 to Bloomingdale Youth Association. These monies were used to purchase a new wireless scoreboard for each field in Bloomingdale. Accepting the award is Blair Mathis, President and Lori Swaim, Vice President.

Putnam County Giving Tree, Inc.

REMC Multi-County Community Trust, Inc. (Operation Roundup) recently awarded $5,000 to Putnam County Giving Tree, Inc. for Christmas gifts for kids & Food Baskets along with providing assistance to Putnam County Residents.
 

Montgomery County Youth Service Bureau

REMC Multi-County Community Trust, Inc. (Operation Roundup) recently awarded $1,050 to Montgomery County Youth Service Bureau for funding for volunteer appreciation gifts.

Parke County 4-H Fair Inc.

REMC Multi-County Community Trust, Inc. (Operation Roundup) recently awarded $3,000 to Parke County 4-H Fair Inc. to purchase fencing for 2014 shelter house.

Rockville Elementary School

REMC Multi-County Community Trust, Inc. (Operation Roundup) recently awarded $3,500 to Rockville Elem. School to purchase a new kiln for art room.

Salvation Army-Parke County Service Ext. Unit

REMC Multi-County Community Trust, Inc. (Operation Roundup) recently awarded $2,000 to Salvation Army-Parke County Service Ext Unit for unmet basic needs and food purchases during Christmas season.

 

June 2015 Recipients


 

Florida Township Civic Club, Inc., was recently awarded $5,000.00 through REMC Multi-County Community Trust (Operation Roundup). Monies will be used to replace wiring, light fixtures and receptacles.  This facility is located in Rosedale, but also serves the outlying area. Mecca A.R.A.B.S., was recently awarded $5,000.00 through REMC Multi-County Community Trust (Operation Roundup). Funds will be used to complete repairs caused by vandals to the concession/scoring facility. Monies will also be used to install electrical wiring in metal conduit. Accepting the award is Ray Wilson, Vice President, Judy Wilson, ARAB member, and Raymond Haughee, Board Member.

 

 

Clay County Cooperative Benevolence, located in Brazil, was recently awarded $1,500.00 through REMC Multi-County Community Trust (Operation Roundup). Monies will be used to provide assistance to low income and unemployed families with needs such as food, shelter and medical assistance. CCCB was formed 16 years ago and works in conjunction with local Trustees and other service providers. Accepting the award is Ruth Fischer, Executive Director.

March 2015 Recipients

REMC Multi-County Community Trust (Operation Roundup) recently awarded $1800.00 to Community Theatre of Clay County to go toward the purchase of wall repair, painting, new lighting and carpeting. The Theatre, formally known as the Lark Theatre,  has been providing a wide array of family oriented shows for over 30 years to Clay and surrounding counties.  Accepting the award is Ann Gibson, Board Treasurer; Carl McKinney, Board Member; Susan Sneddon, President; T.J. Sneddon, Actor/Director; Lee Reberger, Board Member.

 

REMC Multi-County Community Trust (Operation Roundup) recently awarded $3000.00 to Parke Vermillion Community Pregnancy Center. Grant monies will be used to purchase educational materials to help mothers and fathers become better parents and materials to help local groups present abstinence as the healthy choice for birth control. New items will also be purchased for the Earn While You Learn program such as car seats, crib mattresses and diapers.  Accepting the award is Julia Johnson, Interim Director and Ollie Key, Volunteer.

REMC Multi-County Community Trust (Operation Roundup)recently granted Riverton Parke High School - Softball an award of $3950.00. Funds will be used to replace the scoreboard on their softball field. Accepting the award is Charlie Martin, Athletic Director.

REMC Multi-County Community Trust (Operation Roundup) recently awarded $5,000 to Montezuma Youth Baseball League to help complete construction of a restroom at the ballpark. 

 

TR Cheer

REMC Multi-County Community Trust, Inc. (Operation Roundup) recently awarded $3,000 to Turkey Run JV/Varsity Cheerleading for the purchase of uniforms and equipment.

 

Parke Cty Park & Rec

REMC Multi-County Community Trust, Inc. (Operation Roundup) recently awarded $5,000 to Parke County Parks & Recreation. Award monies will be used to pay for  the replacement of a courtesy dock.
